Equipment

  • Donut baking pan
  • large bowl
  • Fryng pan

Ingredients

  • 5 Slices Rizer's Fresh Bacon
  • 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • To start, spray your donut pan with cooking spray and set aside. Mix together cake mix, egg, milk, and vegetable oil. Fill the donut pan with the mixture- for easy filling, put the mixture in a large ziploc bag, cut off one of the tips and pipe mixture into the pan. Bake at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes or until done. Continue until all the mixture has been baked into donuts. Let cool before adding glaze.
  • While the donuts are baking, place the bacon pieces in a large skillet. Fry on medium for about 5-7minutes on each side or until done. One done, place on plate lined with napkins or a paper towel to soak up excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into bits.
  • To make the glaze, combine powdered sugar, water, and maple syrup. Pour onto the donuts. Top with chhopped bacon. Serve and enjoy!
