Total Time 15 minutes mins
Donut baking pan
large bowl
Fryng pan
- 5 Slices Rizer's Fresh Bacon
- 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 6 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
- Cooking Spray
To start, spray your donut pan with cooking spray and set aside. Mix together cake mix, egg, milk, and vegetable oil. Fill the donut pan with the mixture- for easy filling, put the mixture in a large ziploc bag, cut off one of the tips and pipe mixture into the pan. Bake at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes or until done. Continue until all the mixture has been baked into donuts. Let cool before adding glaze.
While the donuts are baking, place the bacon pieces in a large skillet. Fry on medium for about 5-7minutes on each side or until done. One done, place on plate lined with napkins or a paper towel to soak up excess grease. Once cooled, chop the bacon into bits.
To make the glaze, combine powdered sugar, water, and maple syrup. Pour onto the donuts. Top with chhopped bacon. Serve and enjoy!
